  மேட்டூர் அணையின் நீர்மட்டம் 96.94 அடியாக சரிந்தது. மேட்டூர் அணைக்கு வரும் நீரின் அளவு வியாழக்கிழமை வினாடிக்கு 328 கன அடியிலிருந்து 235 கன அடியாக குறைந்தது. அணையிலிருந்து காவிரி டெல்டா பாசனத்திற்காக வினாடிக்கு 10,000 கன அடி வீதம் தண்ணீர் திறக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது. இதையும் படிக்க | அமுல் காா்ட்டூன் சிறுமி விளம்பரத்தை உருவாக்கியவா் மறைவு அணைக்கு வரும் நீரின் அளவைவிட பாசனத்திற்கு திறக்கப்படும் நீரின் அளவு அதிகமாக இருப்பதால் மேட்டூர் அணையின் நீர்மட்டம் 97.63 அடியிலிருந்து 96.94 அடியாக சரிந்தது.  அணையின் நீர் இருப்பு 60.94 டி.எம்.சி ஆக இருந்தது.
